Pupu Moon Festival - Day 1: August 31
Pūpū Moon Fest 2023 opened with a dreamy night of deep bass, dub rhythms, and cosmic energy. French artist Sumac Dub headlined the first evening with his signature blend of electronic dub and ambient textures, creating an immersive soundscape that set the perfect tone beneath the full moon. Digital Monk followed with a unique fusion of dub, downtempo, and global sounds that kept the beach buzzing with laid-back grooves. Wrapping up the night, Selectah Mellowmood brought his smooth reggae-dub selections to the decks, making sure the dancefloor stayed warm and vibrant well into the night.
Pupu Moon Festival - Day 2: September 1
The second night of the festival dialed up the energy with a hypnotic blend of trance and progressive psychedelic sounds. Serbian psytrance pioneer Dalton Trance Teleport took over the stage with a mind-bending live set, delivering pulsating rhythms and cosmic melodies that had the beach pulsing with movement. Joining him was local favorite Ainta John, who delivered a dynamic performance full of tribal beats and high-energy grooves, making for a night of collective release and celebration under the moonlit sky. Together, they transformed Pūpū Beach Cantina into a dance temple by the sea.
